Permanent Make-Up gives your face more expressiveness and an aesthetic definition that is individually tailored to your needs. Small "blemishes" such as irregular eyebrow growth and loss of eyebrow hairs, pale lip contours or lips that are too narrow are corrected to suit your type, so that your face shines with new beauty after the treatment.

Permanent Make-Up is basically suitable for everyone. In particular, people with an active lifestyle who pay attention to their appearance around the clock - for example when playing sports or in stressful situations - value the permanent make-up method for its durability. Questions & Answers

How long does permanent make-up or microblading usually last?

The condition of the top layer of skin determines how long the color pigments remain in the skin. With very dry skin or very large pores, the color intensity decreases more quickly than with normal skin. In addition, the durability of permanent make-up or microblading increases as the skin becomes darker. Since the durability of permanent make-up can vary individually between 1-3 years, we recommend a touch-up after about 1 year. With microblading, a touch-up may be necessary sooner than 1 year.

Are there things to consider during treatment?

Sun, solarium, swimming pool and sauna should be avoided for 2 weeks. The pigmented areas should be cared for several times a day with the healing ointment we provide:

  • Apply a very thin layer of cream to eyebrows 4 times a day for 2 weeks
  • Apply a very thin layer of cream to eyelids 4 times in the evening before going to bed
  • Apply a thin layer of cream to lips 4-5 times a day for 14 days, as well as before and after brushing your teeth

Attention: Hands should be washed before application to avoid possible infections. If you are prone to herpes on the lips, ask your doctor to prescribe preventive tablets before your lip correction. If a blister does form, you can safely use the cream provided in addition to the anti-herpes cream.

What things do I need to consider before starting treatment?

Prepare the skin for treatment. What does that mean? If the skin is dry, it is better to wait one to two weeks and prepare the skin with a healing cream.

In addition, the following should be avoided:
  • coffee before treatment
  • Taking blood-thinning medications such as aspirin
  • Heavy alcohol consumption 24 hours before treatment

What can you do to extend the durability of permanent make-up?

For 14 days after the treatment, you should avoid sun, solariums and saunas and protect the treated area from too much water, wind and cold. Even after healing, it is advisable to apply a sun protection factor that also covers the pigmented area before each sunbath.

Why do eyebrows fade faster than eyelids and lips?

The eyebrows are in the T-zone, which produces more sebum than the rest of the face. This means that the skin renews itself more quickly and the color pigments are broken down sooner, so permanent make-up lasts around 1-2 years here. Since the lips do not produce sebum, a longer durability can be expected here. The eyeliner is protected from UV radiation by the eyelashes, which is why the color can also be expected to last longer here. The color generally fades more quickly on light skin than on dark skin.

Is it possible that I have an allergic reaction to the colors?

Since 1998, we have been treating around 10 patients a day with the color pigments. Since then, no allergic reactions have occurred. The colors are certified, tested and medically approved. If desired, an allergy test can of course be carried out in the crook of the arm. If no reaction occurs after 12 hours, nothing stands in the way of treatment.

What should you do if you have permanent makeup on your eyebrows and want to change your hair color?

For a harmonious aesthetic, it is very important that your hair color and eyebrow color look roughly the same. If you are planning a drastic change in your style that includes a change in your hair color, we recommend that you discuss the planned steps with us in a consultation.

Can the color pigments or old permanent make-up be removed or changed?

Yes, there are various options and methods for removing the color pigments or retouching them afterwards. Which method is suitable for you will be clarified during a consultation.

How many treatments are needed to remove the color pigments?

To answer this question, the following must be clarified: How old is the pigmentation? What color was used? Is the color dark or light? Was it pigmented or tattooed?

What should you do first? Surgery or permanent make-up?

We are often asked this question. In general, what lasts longer should be done first. Before injecting the lips with hyaluronic acid, pigmentation should be done first, as permanent make-up lasts longer and the lips can be corrected after the injection if necessary. An eyelid lift should be done before permanent make-up of the eyebrows, as the eyebrows are adjusted to the shape of the eyes. If you already have permanent make-up, the eyeliner or eyebrows may need to be adjusted after the treatment. It is also possible to correct scars caused by burns, accidents or cosmetic surgery.
