Permanent Make-Up Removal with the Rahimi Remover
For permanent removal of your old permanent make-up, we recommend the so-called "peeling method". Under local anesthesia, the top layer of skin is carefully removed in several sessions using a fine remover. The skin's protective film is also removed in the process. Therefore, absolute hygiene is essential after the treatment. As a rule, 4-6 treatment sessions are necessary. For deeper pigmentation or tattoos, you should expect more than six sessions. Since there must be about three weeks between each session, the entire treatment period is 4-6 months.
Permanent Make-Up Removal with Acid
Removing permanent make-up (PMU) with acid is an effective method for gently removing unwanted color pigments. The acid method for PMU removal uses a specially developed acid solution that is applied specifically to the areas of skin treated with permanent make-up. This method makes it possible to gradually dissolve the stored color pigments from the skin. For complete permanent make-up removal using acid, around 4-6 treatment sessions are usually necessary to achieve optimal results.
Cover-Up with Camouflage
PMU removal with camouflage uses specially selected colors to cover old pigmentation and thus adapt it to the natural hair, lip or skin color. This technique not only allows for a quick lightening of the color pigments, but also offers the possibility of precisely retouching hair lines on the eyebrows or skillfully concealing visible (surgical) scars. 2-4 treatment sessions are usually required for a complete correction, making the camouflage method an effective tool in the world of PMU removal.

Questions & Answers
Which color pigments are best to remove?
Black and dark color pigments that have been freshly tattooed and EU certified pigments can be removed better and faster.
When can you go back into the sun after a removal?
You can only slowly go out into the sun after at least 4 weeks. It is best to ask your treating specialist. If you go out into direct sunlight within four weeks of our treatment, this can lead to crusting, scarring or pigmentation disorders.
What happens if you let too much water get on the treated skin area after PMU removal?
If you go to the sauna or use a lot of water within 10 days of our treatment, this area may become crusty or scarred.
How long should you go without makeup?
In principle, you can always work with make-up; it just cannot be old or opened make-up. The product must either be newly purchased or packaged in a tube that is protected from light. (If you also work with disinfection, we see no problem)
Can you combine different removal methods?
Yes, we often recommend this.
Can removal cause a scar?
Pigmentation always involves injury to the skin. Unfortunately, there are still old permanent make-up devices on the market that can scar the skin.
If you try to remove a scarred area, that area of skin will not improve. Our goal is to remove the color pigments without leaving scars. However, if the customer goes out into the sun, goes to a solarium or gets a lot of water on it during the healing phase, the area can become inflamed and a fine depression or redness can appear.
If desired, we can retouch the area with camouflage during healing.
Can camouflage be removed?
Since camouflage colors are light, they are not recognized by the laser and cannot be removed. However, we can remove the camouflage colors very well with the remover or acid treatment.
Can you just remove without pigmenting?
Yes, we offer removal without pigmentation with the remover, acid treatments.
Can discoloration and color changes caused by laser beams be retouched or adjusted?
Yes, we can remove or retouch the changes.
Will the eyelashes or eyebrow hairs be reduced during removal?
We are well trained and know which method we can use to preserve the hair root or hair pigments.
Incorrect laser treatment can cause damage to the hair root or hair pigment.
What are the advantages & disadvantages of all these treatments?
The advantage of camouflage colors is that good visible results can be achieved after one or two treatments. The disadvantage is that only up to 93% of the skin surface can be covered. Every few years, the pigmented areas can be retouched.
The advantage of removing devices is that the color pigments can be removed from the skin very gently and effectively with several treatments. The disadvantage is that the treatment takes longer.
Another, but smaller, disadvantage is the exposed skin area, which can become inflamed if hygiene regulations are not observed.
We recommend disinfecting the treated area with a painless disinfectant twice a day for two days.
After each remover/acid treatment, avoid the sun for two weeks. In general, the area should be protected from too much sun and water. It is best to wash your hands with soap more than once a day for the first three days. To keep away from dirt and bacteria, we recommend changing the pillowcase and, if you have long hair, washing it thoroughly before the treatment.
The advantage of laser treatments is the low risk of inflammation. But the big disadvantage is that the pigments in the hair or the color pigments in the skin can react with the laser and change color uncontrollably, e.g. from red or brown to anthracite. We very rarely recommend laser treatment. The laser does not recognize camouflage (skin colors) and therefore cannot remove skin colors.
Laser treatments should not be performed in summer.
Can PMU also be removed from eyeliner?
We can completely remove the old pigmentation with our Rahimi Remover or adjust and retouch it with camouflage colors. Laser and acid treatment on the eyelids is not possible or not recommended.
What should I do if I don't like a pigmentation?
We recommend that you contact a specialist as soon as possible. Immediately after pigmentation, i.e. up to a maximum of 6 days after pigmentation, it is possible to remove many color pigments quickly and reliably. Therefore, you should visit a specialist who can remove these color pigments before they become embedded in the skin.
How do you remove permanent makeup from your lips?
For the lips, the decision as to which method is most appropriate is made on an individual basis. Laser treatment is often not recommended, as there is a very high risk of the color changing in this area.
How much does a personal consultation regarding PMU removal cost?
This includes a treatment plan that suits you. Treatment options are presented to you based on images of corrections that have already been carried out, and then the removal and/or correction method that is suitable for you is planned. Only after this discussion can the duration of a correction be estimated and the cost of a correction determined. This varies depending on the extent and effort involved in the correction.
A personal consultation is free of charge. All your questions will be answered and a suitable shape and correction options will be discussed using a rough preliminary drawing. If you wish, we can also treat an area using one or two different methods as a test.
Since it is very difficult to discuss shape and color in a telephone conversation, consultations by phone or e-mail are usually avoided.
Nevertheless, we offer customers from abroad seeking help the opportunity to send current pictures to our studio before a telephone consultation takes place.
The pictures should show real colors in daylight (no direct sunlight or shadows on the face). We need at least 3 pictures from different perspectives to info@rahimi-beauty.de
How much does permanent makeup removal cost?
The cost of just removing permanent make-up depends on the method used and the size of the area. This means that the cost and number of treatments required can only be determined after a consultation.
How well can you retouch with camouflage?
Camouflage can be used to cover the colors particularly well. But we never know in advance how deep or superficial the previous color was pigmented. That's why it's best to have such camouflage work checked again by a specialist after one or two years. If necessary, have it reworked.
How to quickly remove permanent makeup?
Since we have a lot of experience in this area, it is better if we create an individual treatment plan for you. It is a good idea to work with us to create a procedure consisting of several treatments that we think are advisable for you.
What should you pay particular attention to?
First of all, you should be very patient. We cannot achieve the desired result with just one or two treatments. A precise treatment plan should be drawn up during the consultation. Of course, we will answer any questions you may have.
Can red color pigments be removed?
Yes, red color pigments can be removed or retouched with camouflage. We do not recommend laser treatments for red.
Can scars be retouched?
Yes, we have been retouching scars with camouflage colors for over 25 years. We can rework up to 90% of scars. This process should be repeated every few years because scars do not retain the color pigments for very long. General surgical scars: We can reduce or improve scars from breast surgery, scars from facelifts and/or body lifts (etc.) very well.
